Job Description

Our service department plays a critical role in supporting our clients by ensuring their office equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team . This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of Xerox office equipment and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Hours of operation include Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with multifunctional devices and office equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair services on various products, including printers and copiers.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Document service activities using our internal systems and databases.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and provide relevant training to clients.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge about office technology and services.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and support team to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot systems. This could include past roles as a Military or Veteran with electro-mechanical experience, HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic or Repair.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of multifunctional devices and office technology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Xerox Experience
  • Valid driver's license & appropriate insurance coverage. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is included in our technician background check.
  • This position consists of lifting up to 50 pounds, significant walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving. Electrical safety is paramount.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • High school diploma required; relevant certifications or technical training preferred.
