Job Title: Structural Engineer – New Orleans, LA

Location: New Orleans, LA (Hybrid, but must be in New Orleans, LA)
Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
Qualifications: Ideal candidate is working towards or holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join a team dedicated to large municipal projects and bridge work in the vibrant city of New Orleans. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in significant infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise to design, analysis, and project management. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the construction of large municipal projects, including bridges and related structures.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for challenging projects.
• Review and approve project plans, specifications, and construction submittals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Working towards or holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong background in structural design, analysis, and project management.
• Experience with municipal projects and bridge design is highly desirable.
• Proficient in engineering software and tools relevant to structural analysis and design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
