About the Position

The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. This position is pivotal in ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget, in alignment with the standards set by agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and NAVFAC.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct supervision of all field operations and coordination with project managers.

  • Enforcing site safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.

  • Liaising with government officials and inspectors.

  • Reviewing and interpreting plans, specifications, and submittals.

  • Maintaining daily reports and site documentation.


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in federal construction.

  • Demonstrated experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers , NAVFAC , or Embassy construction projects .

  • Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of managing large crews and subcontractors.

  • Aviation construction experience (e.g., runways, hangars) is highly desirable.

  • Willingness to relocate to or work in Australia for the duration of the project.

  • Previous experience running Federal Projects over $50M
